Kate’s work enabled Luton Borough Council’s Wellbeing and Prevention team to produce a robust commissioning plan which will reshape services across the borough and deliver the required savings.
Over the past few years Kate has carried out a number of strategic reviews of Supporting People-funded services for a range of local authorities and support providers.
Her detailed understanding of the Supporting People world and the wider commissioning framework within which it operates has enabled her to provide clients with a clear analysis of the latest position and practical guidance on the steps necessary to improve performance and ensure a better strategic fit.
She has recently completed an overarching strategic review of all Supporting People-commissioned services for Luton Borough Council. This included detailed analysis of all relevant strategies, interviews with key stakeholders, meetings with providers and analysis of key performance data.
She is in the process of carrying out an overarching strategic and value for money review of all older peoples’ services for two LSVTs and is assisting another LSVT to ensure that current Supporting People-funded services offer a good strategic fit and meet locally acceptable parameters in terms of cost.
